Our tension based system utilizes a series of 15 foot sections of fence with inserts for mounting in non-conducting polypropylene sleeves core drilled 4 inches deep into a concrete deck or other substantial surface, connected in series at the top with 2 1/2 inch nickel-plated brass safety latches  with stainless springs. What does this mean to you? The fence remains sturdy by tension supplied from Quad-X core reinforced aluminum poles that slip into your deck. Pool fencing can be installed in almost any type of deck.

Life Saver pool fence is constructed with Textilene® polyester mesh fabric utilizing a mildew resistant polyvinyl coating that provides years of use in the harshest sunlight and the most extreme winter. It’s woven with a continuous basket weave that boasts an incredible tensile strength rating of 270 lbs. per inch making it impossible to rip under normal use. The mesh comes in black, brown, white, beige, or green. Bordered on all four sides by a reinforced vinyl material with a rating of 387 lbs., the fence is kept from sagging and the necessary tension is maintained

throughout at the top and bottom. The border can be considered the most critical part of the pool fence. All border is QuadStitched with the strongest marine thread to allow for years of abuse from direct sunlight and the elements. Be sure your pool fence has four stitches in the border.

The finished mesh is securely mounted on Quad-X core reinforced aluminum poles and reinforced with aluminum cove molding strips attached to each pole.

Standard sections supplied are 15 feet making it easy for you to remove and reinstall the fence. A standard section weighs only 14 lbs. The poles’ surfaces are finished for handling and to prevent injuries from physical contact, and all poles are capped to provide a neat finished appearance. Each aluminum cove molding strip is rounded down. Be sure your pool fence has no sharp parts.

The most recent upgrade to the Life Saver Pool Fence, the Snap Safety Latch, is a break-through in high quality pool fencing. This new latch is nickel-plated with a stainless steel spring, guaranteeing that it will never rust, corrode, tarnish, or deteriorate in any fashion. As with all parts of the Life Saver Pool Fence, the Snap Safety Latch is covered by our Lifetime Warranty. The Snap Safety Latch is the first pool fence latch that can be used by both right and left-handed parents. There are no sharp hooks or points to hurt you or your child. Plastic sleeves are inserted into the ground at the end of the installation process so that your aluminum poles have the best fit and will easily slide in and out if you decide to remove the fence when children are not going to be present. Ground caps fit into the sleeve to keep debris from the holes and provide an attractive covering. Our ground caps feature super-hard plastic and a broad top, completely covering the black sleeve. Each cap is infused with a special UV inhibitor so they'll never crack or deteriorate outside.

Since not all requirements are the same, we have developed the option system to let you customize your new fence to meet your specific needs. Life Saver provides you with over 50 different styles of fence to choose from.

Our standard product is Black Safety Mesh, 4 feet (48 inches) high, utilizing reinforced standard aluminum support poles. This model fence is manufactured with an industry standard of 30 inches between support poles. It is our standard and most popular model of fence. The 30 inch support pole spacing not only adds to the safety and strength of the fence, but also provides more control for fence turns and free form type installations. The 4 foot height is used as the standard for US Consumer Product Safety Commission recommendations for pool safety fencing. It is also the height required by most states and counties that have passed laws requiring pool isolation barriers for child safety.

Support pole spacing on a straight run of fencing (such as between two walls) is of relatively little importance. Both the 30 and 36 inch models will provide almost the same strength and safety factors for all heights of fence. It is suggested on open free form pool installations that 36 inch pole spacing be restricted to the 3 1/2 foot (42 inch) high fence models; 4 foot high and up models should be selected with the 30 inch support pole spacing.

QUAD-X core aluminum poles are stronger than standard fiber reinforced aluminum poles and should always be considered over standard aluminum. Aluminum is the only viable material for use in pool fence poles.

Options for different mesh colors, pole colors, alternative border trims, etc. are all intended to accommodate individual tastes or preferences in the pool fence’s appearance.
